A small but nice area. You find there two beautiful churches alightened at nightime. From there you can start to explore downtown. The tourist information is nearby.

Ceuta is a city with strong Moroccan influences and some beautiful architecture. It's easy to walk to the Plaza de Africa and it makes for a nice area to sit close to the ocean in a pleasant garden setting. It's close to the ocean and a dark sandy beach where the water is clean for swimming. It was wasn't far... More

Main square in Ceuta with a well-maintained garden in the middle with some benches to have a rest during a walk through the center of the town.

The plaza was very close to our hotel in Ceuta. A stroll around it is a pleasant experience, but it's not worth going out of your way to visit.

The Plaza de Africa is a small square with lots of space and areas to sit in the shade and watch the world pass by. The main church is on the square but unfortunately was closed when we visited. The squad is at one end of what appears to be the main shopping and business road through Ceuta, near to... More

Nice square with a beautiful fountain. A nice place to go with the family and if you have kids. A bit small thought, so one cannot jog or bike for instance.

Plaza de Africa is the nerve center of this multi-cultural city. This was built in remembrance of the soldiers fallen in combat during the African War which took place between 1859 & 1860. It has a crypt in the lower part that houses the remains of these soldiers. Behind this monument is the Palace of the Assembly built in 1914... More

A small square with many spots to sit in the shade and close to visit churches, and fort. We used this for a meeting spot while others took different amounts of time to view the fort and 2 churches in the square. Be sure to see the small archeological dig site with signage, hidden behind the cathedral.

This is just an ordinary place with a garden. Really nothing important that you would love to see. There are many charming places to visit when you are in Ceuta.
