Strolling through Santiago de Compostela or dining in one of the local restaurants could bring you face-to-face with one of the members of the university singing group called the TUNA...singing typical Spanish songs and serenading the general public...dressed in capes with colorful ribbons and emblems designating the history of their travels. Well, La Casa de la Troya was once the... More

An unusual little museum, on entrance you will be given a guided tour around the restored house and learn a lot about life in Santiago de Compostella in the 1880s. Definitely worth a visit.

The book tells the stories of a group of male students at the University of Santiago at the turn of the last century - their dreams, their loves, their failures... More

This is an amazing little museum that ties into a famous Spanish novel called CASA de la TROYA. This is one of the old residences/dorms where the original 'T.U.N.A' lived while attending the University of Santiago de Compostela. The T.U.N.A. is composed of university students, wearing medieval black capes and playing instruments to entertain the general public in Santiago. You... More
