It's easy to get there, though walking it's way upwards. There's an old fortification on the top of the hill with nice gardens and the best is the view of the whole bay. I went up at sunset and it was magnificent.

If you are visiting Vigo and you do not have a lot of time this place is great to get great city views and estuary views with the Cies Islands.

Nice castle at the top of a hill. Steep climb coming from the old city, but worth the trip. Good views from the top.

Probably, but you have to climb in order to get to the park. The park is at the top of a hill.

Monte del Castro is a park centred on the peak of a steep hill - from base to top a good half hour if you are moderately fit. Actually not that scenic either. Vigo seems more of a working city than for non-native day... More
