Came to the meeting point on time and waited for guide to organize tour, get tickets and headsets etc. Scheduled for 12:45 start but didn’t actually start to 1:30. Also was supposed to go to 2pm but at 3 we had to leave for another tour. The most annoying part was it was bilingual and the guide had to describe every stop and every work twice. We assumed they could gather enough participants to make an English tour?! On the positive the young lady tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and articulate and did provide interesting insights.

The tourist guide José Miguel, born in Toledo, is very smart, know many details about Spanish history and Art history. Besides he was very patient due to long time (half an hour) that we got to enter into Prado Museum, due to police control.

Very disappointing as tour cancelled the night before and rearranged 2 days later when we would have left the city :o(. Lovely area around the palace as went to look ourselves although the Palace was closed for some reason that day.

I would highly recommend this tour especially if you’ve never been to Spain. It was very informative and we got to see a lot of history. From the beautiful churches, to the birthplace of Saint Theresa and the gorgeous castle of Alcazar. We got to see rooms were king Richard slept and we’re Christopher Columbus pleaded with the kings to go to the New World. Maria was there a guide and she did a excellent job as she’s very well educated in the history of Spain.
