We walked this park during our stay In Madrid. It has nice running/walking trails. There are people everywhere resting, sunbathing and hanging out. It is like Central Park in New York a little refuge from city life. I enjoyed the vibe here and would love...More

Beautiful green park for a lovely stroll or picnic that gets you off the busy concrete streets of the urban Madrid.

Lovely place to visit. I visited on a hot day. Plenty of trees for shade. Lots of people, but you’d never know it. Very serene. Lake with boats to rent, little spots to hang. Beautifully landscaped!

Just the way I remembered it. It's still such a lovely park. The fountains, the trees, the gardens and, of course the lake with people boating. Definitely worth seeing.

It is large so make sure you visit the areas that you prefer, I like the glass castle and for a drink get to the area near the Library and look for the terraces in The Florida.

From Metro Sol take the red line and go to Retiro station. The exit is just there at the door of the park. If you want to buy cheaper food before entering the park just cross the street and walk some steps in Lagasca street... More
