Love these iconic structures that define the modern Madrid skyline. They mark the beginning of the corporate tower section of Madrid.

The Kio Towers at the Plaza de Castilla seem to be leaning toward each other, making the sight very unusual because one is afraid that they may fall down. We passed this place several times when we were in Madrid.

Not much to say really but does seem to defy gravity. If you get in a lift at the bottom left hand corner you would exit at the top right!!

The Torres Kio have very unusual architecture because they are leaning towards each other and people wonder if they are safe. The Paseo de la Castellana passes between the two towers. The towers contain the Bankia bank, a large bank with a controversial past.

Notwithstanding that towers are located out of way from most of main attractions, it worths a visit. If you are arround of Santiago Bernabel Stadium follow north on the Paseo Catellana.

The Puerta de Europa is quite far away from the center and it takes time to get there i.e. by metro but I think it is worth it. A photo of you in front of the skyscrapers might become an excellent profile picture. In additon...More
