We spend around 4 hours here, but we didn't see all. This zoo is huge. Animals are well taken care. There are shows with animals through the day. Entrance is pretty expensive (22 euros/adult), but is well worth it. You get a map of the zoo, with the location of all animals. Bring your own food and water, they are... More

This is one of the zoos that has so many animals and events. We stayed for more than 5 hours. The white tiger was magnificent. Black bear, Elephants, leopard, lion and more. The dolphin, exotic and wild bird shows were excellent. We missed out on sea lion show. Another wonderful attraction was Giant panda. Bringing out own food could save... More

I spent Christmas Day and Boxing Day at the Zoo this year. This was my first visit to Madrid. I wanted to do something completely different, away from all of the restriction and limitation of a UK Christmas. This Zoo did not disappoint! There are absolutely heaps of animals to see, and walking around and seeing everything properly took somewhere... More

Great place to go with your family for a day, animals are active and there is a wide variety of them. If going with young children I would totally recommend to take a trolley, during summer it is hot so I would stay away between 12 and 3. The food is a bit too expensive for what you are eating.... We moved to Madrid and quickly bought annual passes for the zoo, and other attractions. Spent many hours at the zoo with the kids. Excellent range of animals around, good exhibits, and they seem to be active much of the day. (I think part of it is because the locals all bring food and feed the animals!) The "three bears"... This is one of the better zoos I've been to, and the aquarium is worth a visit alone, especially for the sharks! So many animals here that you don't get to see at some other zoos, such as the black bears and brown bears. Also, this place is really quite big and you'll be there all day if you want... More

The Zoo Aquarium is a great place to go with your kinds when visiting Madrid. It has a Panda bear and it is really interesting to see how they look after all the animals. Very recommendable.
