Plaza de las Descalzas is a good square with the medieval monastery on one side and facing the smart old hotel which occupies another side. Just along you can see the Corte Ingles department store.

There is little to see at the Plaza de las Descalzas except the Monastery of the Descalzas Reales. There are no other important buildings in this plaza.
