Sean was an excellent tour guide! He is lots of fun and also very knowledgeable about Spanish history. Toledo is a must see and definitely request Sean to be your guide. You won't regret it!

Natalia's 3 hour tour was delightful. It was full of historical, architectural and cultural information. This is our first trip to Spain and Madrid, and Natalia's breadth of knowledge helped us to better understand this country, city and Madrileños customs. She shared historical myths, gained access for us to hidden/special sites, and recommended 'local' restaurants.

We booked a day tour to Segovia with Singular Madrid Tours. Natalia and Sean were wonderful to work with. They kept in good communication with us throughout the booking process. Our tour guide was Ernesto. We were a group of varying ages from my teenage nephew, daughter and son to my 75 year old father. Ernesto did a great job providing interesting and historical information for us. He and our driver, Javier, were very patient and accommodating with my father who has some mobility issues. When we were looking to book, the tour was a bit more expensive than we thought it might be, but the service we received made it worth the money spent. Ernesto and Javier made sure we had an incredible day in this beautiful city. The day after our tour, we were headed to Toledo on our own. Ernesto was very helpful in a route to take into the city as well as parking places, sights to see and restaurants as well. Everything he recommended was spot on. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Singular Madrid.

My husband & I, along with my parents, made the trip to Spain and spent five days in Madrid from May 14-19, 2015. We booked three tours with Sean: 1) Madrid highlights tour/airport pickup; 2) Flamenco tour; and 3) Tapas/Rastro tour. Because my mom had mobility issues, I stressed that a tour with less walking (if possible) was desirable. Natalia & Sean assured me that they had no problem accommodating our needs, and they truly were sensitive to that. Tour #1 (Madrid highlights) - We were picked up at the airport promptly, and circled around the different parts of the city; visiting a local market and different parks, and had some great tapas and drinks along the way. It felt like a friend showing us around, and Sean is very proud of his city, answering all of our questions & providing history. The car was comfortable and new. Tour #2 (Flamenco) - Took a couple of taxis to a local artisan guitar shop, where we got to listen to a revered Flamenco guitar maker explain his process. It was fascinating. We ended up at Corral de Moreria (my choice), and we had a lovely dinner. The performance was bar none, one of the highlights of our trip. Tour #3 (Tapas/Rastro flea market) - Sean's idea to combine the two, and I'm so thankful that he did. Although it was a Sunday and super crowded, I felt like the city really came alive to us. Sean took us to many special places for local delicacies from the snail stew at Los Caracoles to squid ink croquettas at Viudas Vaca, we were glad to have sampled some authentic dishes, which were all delicious. (As my hubby & I are foodies, this was a dream tour!) At the same time, we got to see all of the locals and tourists shop to their hearts' content at El Rastro. We had so much food and never felt rushed. In all, this was my favorite tour operator during our trip to Spain, and I appreciate their attention to detail and their friendly, down-home approach to tours, as well as their flexibility Their prices for private tours are truly reasonable. I can't wait to return and use their services again. If you can afford to do private tours, do it!
