This is a major street that is full of noisy traffic. Not that pleasant to walk along due to traffic noise and congestion.

Calle de Alcala is one of the oldest and most famous streets in Madrid with its mix of architecture and commercial and residencial premises. Most people remember the Alcala Gate in Plaza de Indepencia.
