Another nice building

If you are in Murcia you should go and check this out. It's only couple minutes away from the cathedral and just next to the Plaza de Santo Domingo.

This is about a 2 minute walk from the Cathedral and the theatre building dominates a plaza that has some good restaurants and bars. This theatre hosts many events that some are advertised outside. Tourist office near by that can give more advise for ticket sales.

Not only is this a beautiful building outside but also inside. We have had the pleasure of watching 3 productions here and have all been great. The staff are really friendly, the theatre and amenities very clean and there are plenty of great bars and restaurants near by. Have a good look at the ceiling inside...

We visited the theatro to see the Bolshoi ballet. The show was excellent, but beware the upper circles are a nightmare for those suffering vertigo. One of our party did and could not take thier seat. The management kindly found two alternate seats to rectify the problem, at no extra charge. The theatre itself is beautiful and ornate, with a... More

Stunning Building....worth a look...spectacular building and quaint area. Visiting Murcia we wandered off the main thorough fare area and welcomed the sight of the theatre. Some reviews say its better inside than outside however I disagree. if you are in the vicinity be sure to take time to enjoy this building...lovely. 23/09/15 YB.

The building itself is not very impressive, but the sorroundings are nice. Inside, the restoration done keeps the old style with good acoustics.

The inside of this theatre is spectacular. It has been really well refurbed. The square it is in is also very pleasant, with cafes/restaurants/tapas bars. Try to find the cheese shop just off the square - mmmm

This is a hidden gem , literally ! Nestled it the middle of other buildings it is a superb example of Roman architecture . It has been very well excavated and restored to give you a fantastic insight in to how it was . The museums exhibition is very well laid out and tells the story of both the excavations... More

When we visited it was after 2 on Sunday afternoon and unfortunately it was closed, it really is a nice looking building, very well maintained.

I have watched twice in this theatre and I appreciate the performances of the actors. Our friend from Murcia highly recommended us to watch the show Don Juan Tenorio which they usually show every 1st week of November. I like the play and the actors were really great.
