Lines are a bit odd - good east to west, but not north to south. Also the connection with the tram system is a bit patchy with some long waits to get trams (eg to the beach).

We took the metro from the airport to the city center. Trains are clean, cool and easy to use. Unless you have tons of odd-sized suitcases, I don't know why you would take a taxi.

What a great way to get around the city. €8.70 for 10 trips, valid for 30 days and can be shared with another traveler. City sight seeing bus is not worth the cost.

Clean, convenient - a rival to other European Metros. Get the 10 ticket option for use on trams and busses as well.

I agree. It is not easy to understand. The problem is that the airport is in zone D. The metro is really easy to use and a good service as long as you are not out too late. It tends to stop running around 23.00 hrs, and we... More
