If you are into modern art, this is the place to visit. All exhibitions were free on Sunday during our visit. Well worth a visit...

Absolutely enjoyable, the exhibition 'lost in the city' (Spanish: 'peridos en la ciudad') is worth a visit and lasts until June 2017. I especially liked the somewhat alienating work of Gregory Crewdson. My advise: also have a look at the ground floor (a.o. Richard Hamilton). I went on Sunday and to my surprise entrance was free of charge.

This is actually quite good. Big in ways but not overly so. Good value for the money. 1 hour is enough to see it all.

We walked here from our hotel and enjoyed a couple of hours looking at the different exhibitions. All very well displayed and lit. Small cafe for snacks. There is a lift.

We spent a little while in this museum. It's all modern art (not surprisingly from the name) and while some of it is interesting, I have to say it's not really my sort of thing. But the price was right (free!) and we were in the area so thought we'd look around. Others who appreciate modern art more than we... More

The best collection of Julio Gonzalez sculptures that we've seen. We went here specifically to see his work. The rest of the museum was interesting but not everything was of interest to us. The exhibitions were very well curated though.

Some modern art museum have random pieces of art. This museum has some pretty interesting themes. They mix art from many artists into a theme. There is currently a them about living in a city and another about fake news (which could be considered pretty timely). I think this makes the art more accessible and possibly more enjoyable. There are... More
