We came here in the early afternoon for brunch. We tried all types of foods and met various travelers. I highly recommend this place for foodies and farmer market lovers.

Very clean. Similar to Barcelona but much quieter and not as many places to eat. Owners of stalls are very pleasant and helpful when asked information about product. Nice place to walk around.

A variety of eating houses, mainly focusing on tapas style eating. A number of the downstairs establishments appeared to be closed. Nice to see an old building being used in a creative way.

When visiting Valencia, a visit to the Plaza Del Mercat is something you must do. It's a typical covered marcet with a beautifull architecture. A really spacious feeling when walking around between the different stalles.

We just love to go there sometimes and buy little things ( fruits, olives , fresh sweets) it's a bit more expansive compare some little fruteria and local markets but ones in the while you can do it :) it has very nice atmosphere.

I guess this is something to organize yourself as it remains a market and with that it's likely not to be a store where goods can be put aside to ship later that day. But you can always give it a try
