Where the reindeer upstage Santa
Dec 2020 • Family
What a find! Really well done and a most enjoyable visit. Excellent COVID precautions and felt totally safe throughout. Happy elves, a jolly Santa, delightful reindeer and no overt commercialism. Just good value for money. Took an 8 and a 5 year old who loved their gifts and the whole experience, but age isn't a requirement, belief is!

AMAZING!!!!
We visited The Reindeer Centre on Monday 14th December for the Christmas grotto.
We fed reindeer, had a one on one with Santa, travelled through various Christmas rooms, they had 3 Christmas selfie rooms (sleigh room, snow room etc.)
We went through a animal/reptile type maze. We saw pigs, meerkats, reindeer, snake, 3 day old baby chicks and plenty more. They had a Christmas gift shop on site. My sons gift from Santa was brilliant.
We were given Haribo whilst we queued and given ginger breadmen on the way out. Best ever grotto we have been to. We will be visiting throughout the year next year and back for Christmas. Truly amazing what they have done. This was so interactive for my children!!!! 5 stars

A wonderful experience with beautiful animals
Dec 2020
We had the most wonderful day here yesterday. It was our first time so we didnt know what to expect. Greeted and directed to parking by helpful guys and then used the toilet before we went in. Very clean and everything you needed in there.
We got our tickets and joined the queue for Father Christmas. There were 2 families in front of us but it didnt take long as the children had a chat with the elves and got given a packet of sweets then they kindly took a photo of us in a festive waiting area before we went on to see a reindeer and its handler where we could stroke and feed him and ask questions. Before we knew it we were in to see Father Christmas!
He was great. On his sleigh at a safe distance but not so obvious the kids would question it.
Spoke to both children and asked questions to include my eldest whos 12 and perhaps not 100% a believer anymore!
We got offered a picture with him then got taken to his 'living room' where there were wrapped presents everywhere! The children got offered a gift and we had a lovely chat with the elf about Christmas films. She was awesome and totally in character. After that the opened their gifts and these were both of great quality and kids were made up. We bought the photo but this was very reasonable and there was no hard sell in any way.
Visited the reptiles and fed the reindeer who were a massive hit with us and generally had the nicest time. All the staff without exception were friendly and cheerful. They all seemed to love the animals and be very knowledgeable.
We made reindeer food and got given a Christmas biscuit. Lovely little extra nice touches and they didn't try and squeeze more cash from you by doing this unlike other places which made us more inclined to spend money in the shop. Lots more photo opportunities around and we left feeling like we had had the best Christmas experience.
Thank you and we will be back. You did an amazing job in really tricky circumstances!

Father Christmas
Dec 2020 • Family
Visited today, was lovely to get out and do something without it being cancelled due to covid. We really enjoyed the few hours, Father Christmas was great. We have 17 month old who loved the grotto and the reindeer. Took lots of photos! Staff were really friendly. Well organised considering the current restrictions.

Lovely Christmas experience with the best Santa.
Dec 2020
Visited Sant with our 3 year grandson. He loved it all and we enjoyed it all. Very well organised due to the virus with no waiting provided one arrives in the given time slot. Santa was great very convincing and good at getting a shy small boy talking! The animated scenes were all very clever and well designed Absolutely a great two hours. Elves also deserve a mention friendly and helpful.

Great for the grandchildren
Nov 2019
We took our 10 and 8 years old grandsons here primarily to see the reindeer. The visit to Father Christmas in his little cottage was an added attraction, and the quality and appropriateness of the presents that the boys received were outstanding. The reptile centre was a big hit with the boys, almost more than the reindeer. A word of advice about footwear in wet weather: although there is plenty of parking space, it is on soft ground which gets extremely muddy.

Lovely Santa experience- but costly!
Dec 2019 • Family
Excellent Christmas experience. Friendly staff, super Santa with great gifts.
Animals look healthy and well looked after. Reindeer feeding was a little chaotic with so many people there.
One let down was the play barn. Toys looked well worn, and need updating.
Also, it’s quite expensive for what it is, especially for accompanying adults.

Expensive and overcrowded, but the kids loved it!
Dec 2019 • Family
We visited on a Saturday in mid December with two boys aged 8 and 10.
Positives- the kids thoroughly enjoyed it all. They were absorbed by the animals at the entrance while we queued, thought Santa was awesome (8 year old) and a most excellent actor (10 year old non believer), were engrossed by the Christmas snow scenes in a series of rooms and couldn’t get enough of feeding the reindeers carrots ( for free) and stroking their furry antlers. Both asked if we could come again next year!
Negatives- muddy car park. queued for an hour to buy tickets then queued for another hour and a half to see Santa. There was then a third huge queue for food so we gave up ( so no free mince pie and we had to stop for a burger elsewhere on the way home!). We spent so much time queuing that we had to forego some of the other attractions such as the play area, elf “sleigh” ride etc. Met a woman and two kids in the car park who tried to hand me her unused entrance tickets- she had given up queuing and was going home without even seeing santa.

disappointing
Dec 2019
very expensive not too sure why adult ticket so expensive as all we did was queue for an hour looks tired and too many people very messy. Children saw santa got a present then walked through very amateur attempt of christmas scenes. Was really looking forward to bringing grandchildren here but it wasnt up to the prices it charged. Needs updating, cleaning up and a review on their charges. Would not recommend it.

Waste of money ! Disappointed !
Dec 2019 • Family
We traveled from south Wales to Kent for a family getaway which was a 4 hour drive.

We have a 3 year old and a 10 year old who is starting to lose his belief in Santa.

We were excited to travel and finally have a place we could spend some good time at and bring back the spark for Christmas...

When we got there the drive through the fields were awful. Yes it rained but it was dreadful.

The disabled access was ok. But could be better.

The entry fee was awful ! We paid £65 for two adults one disabled and two kids!!! Buy we got a free mince pie right ...

We went straight to the raindeer and yes that was probably the highlight! It really was. The rest was awful.

It's not suitable for anyone over 6 I'd say. Mostly toddler stuff with a sand area, kids toy cars and a small bouncy castle.

The animals are most you'd see in a pet shop.

But above all the reason we went there was to see the real santa with a real beard. Our 10 year old was was disappointed as soon as he got in! His face literally dropped !

This santa wasn't friendly and really felt like an amateur actor who didn't know how to improv. He asked about two questions then had a photo.

His beard was fake !

The photo was nice though but a tad over exposed!

So ye I would never suggest anyone go here ! Not at the price we paid.

We found another Santa to save the day on the way back for a quarter of the price !
