We have reached the bridge on foot, though there are numerous parking lots at the bridge foot 😃 if only we new that prior 😅😅😅 Bridge is a long two-winged construction - one wing for bycicles and the other one for pedestrians. The bridge offers...More

Great view of the sea, harbour and the beach. Nice place for jogging and cycling. It's at the end of the beach next to the harbour and you can cross the river on it to go from the beach in the harbour.

The bridge itself is a little gem of an architect's thought bending plain metal into a graceful construction. From the top point you can contemplate the city and the Adriatic Sea embracing the shoreline. The place is not very crowded, but not placid as well....More

when it was been built lot of people protest against, it, saying it was useless, a waste of money, that pescara was not london that could have a pedestrian bridge without car access, now is one of the most iconic landmark of the city

Went up the bridge, it was nice and clean but nothing spectacular. The walkway was facing the ocean, while the bicycle lanes towards the city with some 15m in between. Too bad that no photos can be made of the city and the amazing mountains...More

Unfortunately, Pescara is a young town compared to other Italian towns, and does not offer historical roman or medieval sites for tourists. The "Ponte del Mare" is a dry, artless, metallic bridge, which is not even an engineering achievement. Walking or cycling to the top...More

Well worth a visit!! Although a little windy it was well worth the slight incline of a walk to look across the view of the sea.

Bridge that splits in two parts. Did not expect that. From the bridge you have a great view. Nice exercise if you like to run as the bridge is steep.
