This guy said it beautifully: read June review by Gkmchardy. We visited this site on the day a cruise ship day trippers overwhelmed pedestrian walkways and shops. The contrast here is what I think a cloister is supposed to be: contemplative, quiet, and beautiful, in...More

While the main Piazza and old town are bustling with tourists, shopping, etc...this nice cloister looks it's miles away from it. Positioned on the back side of the beautiful Cathedral it's a place to have some rest and set your impressions by the beautiful gardens...More

It's a small and very cute garden with beautiful little details. It's very charming especially when it's raining.

A small walled garden next to the Cathedral that is well maintained. The surrounding archways are lovely and there is still some antique paintings on the walls that can be viewed.

A beautiful touch of paradise on Earth. Peaceful, beautiful, charming and a great place to take a photograph or spend some time in reflection. The 3 euro entrance fee to the Cathedral covers the cloisters as well.

Well worth a visit. We were unsure at first whether to spend the entrance fee but were so glad we did. A lovely peaceful place - historic cloisters, fantastic ancient frescos and an absolutely beautiful underground chapel. Definitely worth a visit

This cloister has a very rare architectural style with its sharply pointed arches and paired very slender columns. It shows the strong influence of North Africa on this area.
