A very good gelateria in central Sorrento few metres away from the Vessuviana bus station. There is ample place where you can sit and enjoy your ice-cream. I opted for the panino ice-cream.

We took this gelato class with Mario David as part of a gastronomic tour of Sorrento. We had already eaten so much, and were stuffed by the time we got to this beautiful gelateria with such an enticing display. We were greeted warmly by Mario and ushered into the back kitchen/workroom where he explained the science and art of making... More

This is not only a gelateria but a teaching school as well. Imagine learning how to make your favorite confections quickly and quite easily. All of the products are superb and flavorful without being overly sweet. Cannot say enough about this place. Time well spent when visiting Sorrento!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great little gelateria on the fringes of Sorrento town, very near the Railway station. and which is fantastic. When for example, you have been to say Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum etc for the day. And on your return you have a wonderful selection of Ice cream and other fabulous treats awaiting you. Priced for the locals and naturally... More

Standard gelateria but has a huge menu with crepes and other types of desserts. Went 2 or 3 times during my week in Sorrento, and on a block with a great restaurant and bar. They also have WiFi as an FYI.

Wonderful ice cream parlour that stocks approx 54 varieties of ice cream. It was the only place we found Cassatta - a wonderful ice cream that took me back to my childhood when my Father used to bring it back home for us. For those who don't know the flavour it consists of candied peel, nuts, cherries and raisins all... More

A chance to see behind the scenes at a family-run gelateria. Although not a hands-on experience there was a lot of information about ice cream making techniques, and two volunteers helped to create a delicious lemon sorbet before our very eyes. The admission price includes a portion of ice cream to round off the visit.
