This ravine is located just off Piazza Tasso on the side of a busy road. It is very easy to walk by and never know it is there.

Just up from Piazza Tasso on the right is a very deep ravine. It can be viewed from the bridge. It is full of rich vegetation and ancient mill buildings long since abandoned. It is certainly a spectacular site and sight.

Just off Piazzo Tasso and you look down on it from a bridge. A lovely old mill in a surprising location and a pity you can't go down to it

We briefly stopped off in Sorrento on our tour of the coastal road from Amalfi. As such such we were not exactly a fan of the town - too touristy for our liking. However what a gem to find just off the main square. At max it takes 5 minutes to walk there - if even that. A beautiful old... More

I'm afraid of heights but it was so worth taking pictures of this place! Well worth a look! I don't think u can access it by foot though, only able to see it from the bridge

You can see this from a bridge above, I'm not sure if you can access it from anywhere else. It's worth walking 100 metres just to have a look. I would like to have had more information about it as it's from a time when the town had a different industry to tourism.

This is a curious piece of ancient history that is right in the center of the town, just behind Tasso Square, which is the main one, is inaccessible but the view from the balcony gives a great sensation

This Is even more beautiful in person than it is in pictures. It's right in the middle of town. You can't go into it, you can only view it from the road above so it's a quick thing to see while in Sorrento.
