This is the most famous square on Capri and the most crowded. It makes a great meeting place as there is a big clock tower there. Lots of souvenir and gelati shops in this piazza.

Best time to visit is 7pm in the evening when all the day trippers have gone. Order a chilled glass of Prosecco and just watch the world go by in all shapes and forms.

This is where it all happens. To see and be seen! This tiny Piazza is packed to the gills with the in crowd. Lots of linen and cigars! take a stroll along the narrow side streets off the square.

nice stroll - small shops, cafes, etc. if you stay overnight - don't miss it. Otherwise - don't bother, there are better places to visit.

Great Piazza, lots of people, good bars. No restaurant on that Piazza, only four great bars. This is the cross road of all the streets in Capri, you will go through that place many times. Might as well stop for a drink and enjoy looking...More

Same as previous answer, its a busy tourist spot, so can't see the shops and tours being closed. Its their main income.
