Very busy and packed on beach like sardines but that's typical of the Italian riviera. Every space is taken and boats pull very close into beaches. But very pretty area with places to eat and drink.

Great little spot on the other side of Capri - away from the crowds and with some gentle warm crystal waters to swim.

It's not very long and doesn't display much except for the many restaurants. If you're in Sorrento for a few days, you'll probably want to stroll it and nosh at one of the myriad eateries- which BTW are uniformly good and most are reasonably priced. There are a few small fishing boats here but not much else to see. It's... More

Marina Piccola is the calmer, most beautiful side of Capri. From the harbor take a taxi. Its only 15 min. away. You will find great restaurants and you can swim there as well.. It's breathtaking.

Marina Piccola is a great place to visit, lots of places to eat nearby and beaches to swim from. But! On the day I was there there was so much litter in the water it wasn't a nice place to swim, you didn't know what might get stuck to you next. Côme on Marina Piccola you have a beautiful resource... Very cute...highly recommend using the bus to get to other parts of Capri from here instead of waiting for / paying for a taxi!

Walked down the hill to his quaint spot on the sea. There are beach clubs for those who want fancy and public beach for those who want to lay down a towel, swim and enjoy the amazing blue sea. We swam in the cove with the arches for the afternoon, it was paradise! Crystal blue waters and an amazing view.... More

We wanted to see beside the Marina Grande on the northern coast of Capri Island, this picturesque small harbour as well. It is located on the southern coast of island and can be reached easily on foot , via the panoramic Via Crupp. This charming pathway starts just beneath the Gardens of Augustus. Also is disposable the bus from the... More

Even if you don't visit very much on Capri, the visit is worth it just for the wonderful boat trip. Spectacular scenery, caves, sheer mountain faces, and Sophia Loren's retreat, what more could you want. The small buses and open top taxis on these narrow winding roads are a must do as well. The small town is lovely and the... More

There is one "Marina Piccola" on Sorrento. Ferry boats leave from that location to go to Capri. Ferries headed for Capri pull into "Marina Grande" only (no ferries to the Marina Piccola on Capri. On Capri, "Marina Piccola" is on the opposite side of the island from "Marina Grande" and it is here that the recreational boats going to the... More
