A neoclassical royal palace beautifully set in a park overlooking Naples. Inside very interesting collection of China from the times of Bourbons.

One of the most fascinating parks in Naples. Unfortunately it's partially closed, but I hope it will be restored to its full prestige ASAP.

The park is beautiful, with paths and benches. The area in front of the villa is (or at least was this morning) filled with toddlers and their mothers, grandmothers and nannies. We enjoyed watching the show for quite a while. Then went into the villa itself, which is two things in one -- a wonderful house, with beautiful ceilings and... More

This museum is housed in a large park and is easily reached from the Vanvitelli Metro station. There is a collection of porcelain including pottery from China and Japan but there is not much information in English. There is a cafe in the garden and some amazing views from the terrace.

This villa houses amongst other things a large and varied collection of ceramics from Europe and Asia. There are also lovely gardens, providing an oasis of calm to escape the bustle of Naples. Particularly spectacular is the Panorama over the bay. The gardens are free of charge.

Also, I visited on a Tuesday when the ceramics museum was closed so would choose a different day in future. Overall, a nice place in a good area of naples with access to some good... More

…..in a beautiful, well-maintained building, with clean and well-lit cases, excellent labelling but above all a tremendous collection. Varied, comprehensive and of the highest quality, the displays of the major Italian manufactories are complimented by rare pieces from the minor ones and outstanding groups of French and German ceramics, including several unique pieces. Room after room of treasures, rarities and... More
