They simply love San Gennaro, this saint is their protector. All those gems in this chapel and statues of silver and gold. It was an amazing show of treasures and art. A must see.

It's is definitely a must see. While you have to pay entrance for the museum the entrance to the duomo is free. The cathedral itself is marvelous, with paintings on the ceilings, and various chapels within.

Beautiful treasure, mediocre museum. No pictures allowed, and there's only ONE toilet for both men and women. I reccommend you do some reading on Sn. Gennaio before you go.

After a visit to the Duomo in Naples, the Museum of the treasury of San Gennaro is just round the corner. Worth a visit, just to see the treasure on display, which is supposed to be more valuable than the English crown jewels.
