Very interesting and fascinating tour! Our English speaking guide, Luca, was very knowledgable and kept our 7 & 8 year olds interested the entire tour. Although others mentioned claustrophobia might be an issue, I do not agree. It was a tight squeeze at only one part and you could see light ahead of you. Highly recommend!

Well worthy of a visit. It was freezing waiting outside for our guide. But once we had reached the bottom of the stairs everyone had warmed up. Our tour was in Italian and with our limited language skills we were able to understand him, lots of hand gestures and fabulous sense of humour. Highlight for us were the narrow tunnels,... More

There were 9 of us, so we had an English speaking tour guide. He was brilliant, he took us all around the wells and old water courses of Naples. His knowledge was only bested by his enthusiasm!! We learnt so much about the history of Naples, stuff you would never normally have considered. Well worth the money .but be prepared,... More

This was one of the most different things we've done, I was slightly apprehensive, as you're warned it a tight squeeze. And it was! I was fine ( slightly scraped on one elbow, but fine) but 2 young men had to go out. It takes you right back through the layers of history under the city. The guide, Roberto, was... More

This was a place that I was not expecting to have so much fun at. It was very entertaining and educational. I do recommend.

Loved this tour. I was a bit scared of going underground as I do get claustrophobic, but it was so fascinating there was no time to think about it and mostly the underground spaces are large and open. It was fascinating to learn about the history of Naples and to think that we were walking through what was originally excavated... More

We did not have the guts to enter these underworlds streets, as the town was scary itself, all streets around Spaccanapoli and the Spanish quarter. It was spooky when we passed by in the evening, see the pic. Visited September 2015

What a fascinating tour. We learned about the ancient water systems that were created by the Greeks and then expanded by the Romans. How each house in Naples had fresh water from the underground wells. During WWII they became bomb shelters and the citizens spent months underground during the allied invasion. A mirror image of the city above, some 40... More

Naples offers a few underground tours I took this one and Bourbon tunnel tour and I experienced more than I expected. this tour took 2 hours ( admission 10 Euros ) and I wasn´t bored one single minute. Our guide Luka was very enthusiastic and funny, he revealed a lot of interesting points, infos and stories about the purpose of... More

We went on this tour based on the excellent reviews on TA and we definitely made the right choice. Initially, we were slightly disappointed that we didn't Lucas(who everyone was raving about), but our guide, Fabio, proved to be just as entertaining. He was extremely animated when describing the history of the subterranean to us and you could almost picture... More
