A wine experience like no other! Wine is an important part of Italian culture. At VinoRoma wine tastings/seminars we give you the key to understanding Italian wines and your taste so you can continue exploring on your own, too. Not intimidating, stuffy or confusing - a lot of fun and very insightful! Nice side effect: you will learn a lot about food, too!Drink wine. Not too much. Mostly Italian.

For the past few weeks I have been traveling around Italy, and before I traveled I decided that participating in a wine tasting would be an amazing experience...and that it was! I was so excited because this would be my first wine tasting experience, and it was one that I recommend everyone should participate in. Hande was fantastic, and provided... More

We recently took Hande's 'My Italians' wine course and had a great time. Hande is extremely knowledgeable and chose a great selection of wine to showcase the different styles that Italy has to offer. Her teaching style caters to beginners and experts equally well and she also suggested some great restaurants off the beaten track that we later enjoyed. Definitely... More

I attended Vino Roma's My Italians tasting in early June. Having grown up around California Chardonnay and a few South American red wines, I did not know what to expect from Italy. Hande offered a fantastic introduction to the world of Italian wine and the Italian food and wine culture. Not only was the tasting informative for beginners as myself,... More

Attended a sparkling wine tasting with Hande and had a wonderful afternoon. Loads of information and tips to make drinking Italian wine in Italy (and at home) pleasurable. Will most certainly visit again for some of the other classes on offer.

Wine tasting in Rome. Vino Roma is a nice break from the sightseeing of Rome. The staff is friendly, polite, and really know their wines. The 2-hour evening class is truly for the wine novice; not experienced enophiles. But, you will have fun no matter what your experience level.

Thank you so much for your review, LLBSacto. I am glad you enjoyed the tasting but felt it is not for experienced enophiles. One of our aims as vinoroma is to give insight into Italian wines for any level of wine knowledge and would be very unhappy if you felt you didn't get the most out of this tasting. I... More

Must do for cheese and wine lovers. I have little knowledge of wine but cam away from our 2 hours understanding how wines in Italy are classified and how to choose a good wine. I only made the mistake once of saying 'Italian wine' Cheese on the otherhand is an area I am well versed in and the cheeses we... More

Whether you are an experienced wine taster or just wanting to learn more about wines Vino Roma is the place! There's no better way to finish off a day in Rome than a relaxing class with Hande (the host) surrounded by friendly people over some wine. If I ever go back to Rome this is a place I definitely will... More

From a group of wine lovers we had a great time! This organized wine tasting made us better judges of what we are drinking and how it relates to the food we are eating. Henda was a most gracious host and made us all feel that our opinions were good ones.
