Rosalba was a fantastic guide! Although there was a taxi strike the day of our tour, she navigated the Metro with us and prepared us for what we were about to see upon our arrival at the Vatican City. She had books to show us the works of art up close before we embarked on the tour. By the time... More

What an amazingly knowledgeable tour guide and archeologist! Alessandro Cali brought me and my wife throughout Rome in 2 x 4 hour tours over two days. We saw the Colliseum, the Roman forum, Vatican City (including the Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter's Basilica) and all other tourist destinations in Rome, including the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, many piazza's,... Myself and two colleagues had a day to kill in Rome on a business trip. Elisa was phenomenal. Her depth of knowledge on all things Rome was incredible. We covered a ton of ground over about six hours. Elisa kept us engaged, entertained and charmed. We will be back to see our new friends...highly recommended by a discerning traveler.

Our tour guide, Angela Caiati could not have been more perfect. We did the tours on the first two days we were in Rome, which set the tone for the rest of the trip ( warm, friendly). Angela was so knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend using the eyes of Rome to visit these destinations. Without Angela's knowledge we wouldn't... More

Our hotel, the Lunetta recommended the Eyes of Rome for a private tour of the Colosseum and made the reservations. Our guide was Maria. She was excellent. Not only was she professional, she was kind and spoke great English. We were with her for approximately 4 hours and she was a wealth of information. When the tour concluded she recommended... More

My tour guide was Valerie. We spent 7 hours touring archeological excavations, St. Clement church and the Vatican. It was a wonderful intense learning experience. Valerie is extremely knowledgeable. More over, her passion for Rome and its many layers of history will be part of my Roman memories. Thank you!

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
