An absolutely beautiful serene and peaceful ambience at this location. Could have stayed all day. Came back to feel it all again.

At the centre of the Piazza Navonna this fountain dominates it and is both impressive and beautiful either by day or night. The Piazza is full of tourist bars and restaurants but is worth stopping to have a drink and soak in the sight.

It's very easy to get blasé about all the amazing statues and fountains in Rome, but this one is lovely. It's easy to find too and you can take it in while walking between other major sites.

There are, of course, dozens of fountains to look at in Rome, but I always like to look at an attraction that has a meaning for me, and The Fountain of the Four Rivers does just that. My first interest was following the film "Angels...More

Stunning fountain by Bernini in the centre of Piazza Navona. Better at night as beautifully lit and street vendors pop coloured toys whizzing into the air like little fireworks.

We took the Hop On /Hop Off bus and the last stop we (my friends and I) was made to get off near the Castel Sant’ Angelo. It is then just a short walk to the Piazza Navona. It is definitely make time to visit...More

One of Bernini's best work. The Four rivers Nile, Danube, Ganges and Rio del Plata represent the 4 continent - Australia was not discovered yet. The sculpturs are beautiful, it is something really breathtaking.

It's always so breathtaking to see in person something you've seen a hundred times in pictures and movies and travel shows. I just stare and take it all in.

Best fountain in the Piazza Navona. Bernini came up with the idea, but he had four different sculptors carve each river god.

With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
