I would give this 4.5 stars if I could. It opened later than it was supposed to the day I went, but it was worth the wait. I appreciated the detailed guide (on a table in the first room -- carry it around with you...More

Is the perfect time to visit this galleria as it is free to all. This very beautiful ornate palazzo houses some absolutely stunning art, not a big exhibit however quality beats quantity every time. Also Borromini’s forced perspective gallery is rather impressive.

We stumbled across the most beautiful palace in Rome, the sixteenth century Palazzo Capodiferro and were just taken aback by the stucco work on the façade and the courtyard, visible from the street. The Gallery itself is on the first floor and contains Baroque paintings...More

This gallery is pretty small, with only 4 rooms of painting of sculpture, but the pieces displayed are certainly worth a visit to see. This isn't necessarily a museum I would prioritize for a first visit to Rome, but one which I definitely enjoyed at...More

The gallery is very small, 4 rooms only but it houses interesting pieces of work. Each room is explained in a short guide and all the art is titled but there is no detailed explanation of each so we tried to make our own up....More

A short walk from Campo dei Fiori, this museum is packed full of sixteen and seventeen century art (Tiziano,Caravaggio, Rubens, to name just a few), and for those who are in the know this is quite a collection. But the true reason for visiting is...More

The collection is housed in 4 rooms. It is small but worth the visit. I was disappointed that we were offered for 4e an English guide which only told you artist and title. No information about the background to the piece.

The current location for an Italian high tribunal, the building is a great masterpiece of Rome. To be seen the prospective hall of Borromini (which creates an illusionary distortion of objects) as well as a magnificant internal hall decorated according to Manierism. To be seen...More

Definitely recommended for art lovers. The gallery is not overwhelming (four rooms) but it is necessary to take time to review the handout to find such notable works as Artemesia Gentileschi's Madonna and Child and her Saint Cecilia as well as Bernini's sculpted Head of...More

Our guide brought us here and was able to provide so much information and pointed out different art styles etc without this it would have been a much poorer experience. Some amazing artwork and the Borromini illusion is worth seeing. We were the only people...More
