My wife and I decided to stop here and get something to eat and have a drink while walking around this part of Rome. This part of the Hassler hotel is beautifully decorated with a luxury feel and ambience to it. The service was impeccable as was the light food we ordered. It is very quiet and relaxing. Prices were... More

Having tea or a cocktail, they know how to make a white lady or a cocktail martini, and listen to the music Mario is playing after 19.00 , you have it all.

Have stopped many times at the Hassler Bar inside the Hassler Roma over the years. It never disappoints for an afternoon or evening break and cocktail! Stefano and Benedicto and team offer impeccable service at the historic hotel. Always welcoming! A must stop even if you aren't staying at the Hassler!

This hotel is beautiful and the bar is great. It is a hot scene for spotting celebrities,..... There is usually somebody playing the piano at the bar, the food is very very good and the ambiance is absolutely wonderful. Last time I visited was february 2015.

I'm not sure why my previous negative review was removed but seeing as this is a forum where customers are entitled to share their reviews, good or bad I will continue to make sure this review is seen. We were in the bar celebrating a birthday and enjoying fabulous cocktails with friends when we decided we would all have a... More

Had a great evening sitting in the bar of the Hassler Hotel. The staff were brilliant, very welcoming, informative and provided excellent service. Special mention for Stanislav, our waiter who made sure we had a great time and that our wine glass was filled! Great selection of wines and cocktails. The piano man also played some lovely songs which made... More

The red velvet of the bar and its small size makes it very cosy and intimate, and if you are lucky you may be drinking a cocktail next to some celebrity, but shhh... This is a refined although relaxed place, and discretion is a must. The bartender, Stefano, makes the best Whisky Sour in town and his smile, laugh and... More

The hotel is lovely, and its fun to stop in to see the hotel and then have drinks at the hotel bar on the first floor.

Dinner was fully booked at the Michelin starred Imago upstairs, so we had dinner at the newly-reopened (first day after the summer break) Salone Eva downstairs. Lovely piano music, and excellent staff led by Alex; Benito and Stanislav were delightful and engaging when we engaged with them. Excellent starter: mozzarella with crispy eggplant parmigiana. Excellent pastas: rigatoni Amatriciana (in the... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
