Excellent experience! Muchas gracias a Valerio! Eres un anfitrión muy amable y acogedor (Spanish was our common language). Easy to get to, just a short walk from the Lucio Sestio Metro stop. Picked up the bikes, got a good briefing as to how to get to the Appian Way and we were riding off on a bright sunny day of adventure. Bikes are well maintained and a map a guide pamphlet are provided. Price was excellent compared to other vendors we looked at. We will be back to rent from Fuori di Ruota on our next Roman adventure!…

We had confirmation and reservation and they turned us away. They did not care at all. We had to go to a bike rental place inside park and it was cheaper. Stay away from these people!

Response from lauraipp, Proprietario at Fuori di Ruota - Bike Rentals
Responded 10 Sep 2016
It has been my personal mistake on the process- i simply forgot to register the booking received many weeks in advance. It never happened something similar and will never happened again. I felt so sorry and immediately suggested you the other bike rental. Happy to know you have enjoyed the day anyway, in spite of my mistake. Ciao. Laura

A little bike rental on a local residential street set up by the most delightful couple. Laura and Velorio are warm and friendly, offering maps, tips and directions for cycle routes around the vast area. We were there on la Pasquetta (the day after Easter), and, after dropping off the bikes, were invited to join them and their family for Colomba cake and wine whilst awaiting a taxi - it truly was a pleasure and honour for us and we would certainly return to this beautiful side of Rome.…

Just few steps from metro station, and even fewer steps to Parco degli Acquedotti. If you want to spend some time out of busy Rome, Fuori di Ruota is great place for that! Laura is very nice and she will provide you with all the information you need to discover the area.

Laura was so wonderful to us. I emailed her last minute and she responded right away confirming our rental of three bikes. She provided great directions to get to their shop, had the bikes ready, and pointed us to the Aqueduct park and Appia Antica for the day. She was flexible when we decided to stay out biking longer and was so genuinely happy that we enjoyed our day! It only cost 14 euro for the whole day - 11am to 6:30pm. We could have even stayed longer if it didn't rain. If you are visiting Rome, I highly recommend renting bikes and exploring the area and there's no better business to support than Fuori di Ruota! Enjoy :)…
