Since 1999 offering Market-to-Table day class, half day classes, 3 night courses. As my classes are for very small numbers they fill up quickly and the first months to fill are April/May and September/October so plan ahead! I offer home cooking in a well air-conditioned home kitchen making updated, well plated, traditional Italian meals and my apartment is right in the heart of the historic city. Beginners, experienced cooks, professional chefs, families with children all welcome! I do my utmost to give you a memorable day and a great culinary experience and teach all the classes personally. And if you or your travelling partner/s don't fancy cooking, I offer a morning market food tour ending in a light lunch to introduce you to Bologna, its history and its food. And an unusual evening tour too, just email to ask!

We spent 2 very inspiring days with Carmelita. She showed us with passion how to make handmade pasta. The information we have received about Italian products will keep us alive for a long time. Really worth it.

A cozy home atmosphere, excellent & fresh ingredients from the local market and the magic of home-made tradition of Bologna. The food was a festival of senses, exquisite and sophisticated taste! Thank you, Carmelita!

Sorry missed this, I do not expect to find requests for bookings here. People usually send a Trip Advisor request or else they send an enquiry from my website. My apologies!

My husband and I will be visiting Bologna from Tuesday, 19th April until Sat, 23rd April. We are very interested in the market to table food tour. Are there particular days when you gather a group to do this tour? Could you please advise the cost to participate? Pamela

What is the biggest group that can be booked? Can you accommodate a group up to 20 people?

As it says on my website, my Bologna classes are for very small groups, not more than 6 people at a time.
