This is a very relaxing little park, quite near to the railway station, and clearly much loved and used by local residents who use its picnic tables, and seats to relax and picnic or just chill out with friends. In addition to the green space...More

Avoid this park. Especially when its dark: full of drug dealers... I live in Bologna and I NEVER set foot in this park

It seemed to me like this park used to be very nice in the past but has been kind of “let go” in recent times. I passed through it on my way to the train/bus station at the end of my trip and I actually...More

Park is near the railway station and not far from Piazza Maggiore. It was park with trees and grass and fountains. During our visit (Saturday) it was a place for meetings with sellers of all kinds of trash and some souvenirs from Africa and Latin...More

Our family of 5 decided to take a walk in this green area, looking at sculptures and just get away from the busy streets. The entrance is impressing, but then we came into the park. Lots of young men (refugees?) occupying benches and begging for...More

Relatively small and not so green in August. Some of the statues and the fountain were under rehabilitation. Nice place for the organized multietnic market.

There are some lovely parks in Bologna and this is one of them. The green is so welcoming on a hot day, and what is lovely is to see people sitting on benches and relaxing, or playing sports. But I would give it a miss...More

Since we had a week in the area we chose to visit this park one beautiful day. We were encouraged by the impressive entrances to it but disappointed afterward. It is not especially well kept and graffiti abounds. It does offer a leafy refuge from...More

If you are interested in historic parks its just for you, but for me it wasn't so impressive. Yes it's really nice place, yes I'm glad to see that, but its not worth it to come to Bologna just to see this. In Bologna I...More

This lovely park is just off Via Independezia and perhaps it was a glorious place to visit. There are some interesting statues, but they are fenced off , probably to prevent so-called graffiti 'artists' damaging them. I found quite a few groups of Africans lurking...More

If you are fan of walking into a park just to sit down and relax then this place is for you. Despite not offering much more than that, having a peaceful spot so close to the city center is just what some people need after...More

Although small it is well worth a look. The way in from the bus station is probably the grandest park entrance we have ever come across. The entrance from the square (much less grandiose) and some of the walkways are taken over at the weekend...More
