This museum covers the history of recorded sound but is also studying and experimenting with sound. Get the (wonderfully informed and helpful) staff to show you the sound-benches and the sound-room. This is worth a visit if you are near Parma.

I was charmed by my visit to this small museum, in what used to be a church, in Parma. It was fun to look at all of the old record players, etc that make up it's collection.

Interesting exhibition, with old equipment used for recording and broadcasting of sounds. They have a special room where you can literally feel the sound around your body. The staff is very friendly. Free entry.
