Piasenza is full of impressive old churches and this one is one of the best. Dark but atmospheric interiors and an impressive bell tower

This is also a beautiful church from the 11.- 12. century. It was rebuilt and reshaped several times, but it is still one of the nicest church in the city.

This is an impressive church in Piacenza. The size alone is breathtaking, especially once you are inside. Unfortunately, for me, there was scaffolding up inside of part of the church, and this took away from some of the grandeur.

Piacenza is famous for churches, and S. Antonino is a beautiful example. More than one thousand years old, a jewel in the city center, close to Piazza Cavalli. Worth a visit.

If you come to Piacenza I recommend coming here to look at this impressive church and interiors. It's quite dark and haunting as well as being intriguing for its lovely architecture. A must for all those who enjoy exploring churches.

Sant'Antonino is probably the oldest church in Piacenza and it acted as its cathedral in the Middle Ages. The entrance (which is on one side, known as 'The paradise") is very impressive with two intriguing statues supporting the top of the door, the most mysterious...More

This is a famous church but possibly more for things that happened here than for its architecture because there is in all truth not much to see. There are many more interesting churches in Italy.
