Crossing the Tieberius bridge entered Borgo San Giulano and came across a few houses with excellent graffiti art on their facades. This locality was the ancient fisherman's quarters and made famous by Film Director Fellini. This locality of Rimini is famous for its fish products and lunch was fish with French fries at " Borgo Fritto" restaurant which was doing brisk business as a takeaway as well as open air restaurant.

We went to Borgo San Giuliano on bikes during late June 2019. It's across the Tiberius bridge from centro storico of Rimini. It has lots of little multi-colored houses painted with fresco-like pictures from major Federico Fellini's films. It's an enjoyable neighborhood reminiscent of mid-1960s' Rimini and is well worth a visit - be it on foot or bikes.

This neighborhood, on the northern side of Ponte di Tiberio, is full of small cobbled streets and many good restaurants. However, the most striking thing of this Borgo is the murals that adorn the houses and businesses of the district.

If you come on holiday in Rimini, you can not miss the old Borgo SanGiuliano. Starting from the Tiberius Bridge to the end of the port, a walk through history, street art and the sea. Recommended

Once you have crossed the Tiberius Bridge, do down any of the streets on the right hand side and just wander.
The houses were originally where the fishermen lived (not now), and they are painted various colours, co,plate with a variety of murals.
Just keep wandering.
