Most of the content does not pertain to San Marino. Very little material is in English. I don't think I learned anything new. It seems like the primary function of this museum is as a jobs program for museum attendants, since I was the only one there. I'm only giving it to stars rather than just one because the building... Make sure you get a Multimuseo card so you can visit all the castles and museums. It covers everything and saves time. The views from each site are amazing. I was only in the city/country for four hours so i had to rush around to see everything and probably didn't dedicate enough time to each attraction but what I saw... More

Worth a short visit, especially with a combined entry ticket to other attractions. We spent half an hour there which was about right for us and there is quite a good display of local relics, from pre Roman times to recent times. There are some general explanatory notes in English which really helps the visit, as most of the individual... More

Every inch of San Marino is spectacular and beautiful, there is so much to see and do that you may not get to everything in two days.

Archeology artifacts here that are run of the mill and nothing really exceptional. Also some artwork and other displays. This really was a little average and I did switch off. Completely. This was part of the combined ticket that we bought. Toilets on site.

Museo di Stato di San Marino offers a great collection on country's history with great pre-historic finds and beautiful art exhibition. Included in multimuseo pass. Great to see.

Average type of museum, and worth doing if you get a pass allowing access to the 5 places of interest. Just nothing exciting about the place, but nothing that is bad either.

Entrance to the museum is included in the combined ticket for 9 euro (Museo, Palazzo Pubblico, first and second tower). Visit of museum takes 1-2 hours. You can see different exhibits inside from prehistoric to recent times. There is nothing bad but also nothing special or extraordinary in the museum. It is suitable addition to other excellent places in San... More

What a beautiful building, particularly at night when it's all lit up. I was lucky enough to have crystal clear skies, both day and night. Shopping in that area seemed reasonable, although it obviously catered to the tourist.
