Nice walk with nice view

It was a nice walk on the coast line to the castle of Miramare. When you arrive to the castle you can see from far also la laguna di Venezia.

We were pleased to catch a boat ride from the Harbour of Trieste and travel to Muggio early October 2016 on our day visit to Trieste from Slovenia. I highly recommend any boating adventure you may want to plan to see the sights of Trieste. So relaxing and peaceful and typical of Wonderful Italy.

Trieste is on the Adriatic Sea and the Golfo di Trieste is at the foot of the city. It is always full of sail and motor boats. Triestians love the sea!

The grand-duke Ferdinand Maximilian knew how to enjoy life in a most exquisite way, so he chose this piece of dream-like coast to build his Italian residence. Well done!

This is a spot which you can admire of any place of the shore. It is even interesting, that on the shore there are a lot of sunbathing, swimming people.

Beautiful with almost every atmospheric condition. If the wind is calm it can become a beautiful flat mirror while when the bora arrives it can become a boiling pot. The best way to enjoy it is by resting on the molo audace while waiting for the sunset.

A truly beautiful gulf with wedding-cake Miramare Castle jutting out on a small promontory and the oft dnow-capped Alps in the distance. It is especially beautiful at night when the lights reflect romantically over the water, and really magic when viewed from the obelisk in Opicina. The coastal road leading to it is considered to be among the most beautiful... More
