We used this Tourist Office when we were in Trieste early October 2016. I highly recommend this as they hire out Head Sets to do your own self-guided tour of Trieste. The headsets cost nothing but you will be asked to leave an item for exchange.

We generally get around quite well but needed guidance and the office at the Piazza Unita d'Italia was very patient and thoroughly helpful. Her English was fine, important to us.

I had found it hard to get much information on Trieste before going so our first trip was to the Tourist Office. The staff were amazing. They gave us guides, maps, bus timetables and, because we were there for 9 days, suggested we bought the museum pass and travel pass. This cost 35 euros each which seems a lot but... More

Really nice helpful lady in here with good English skills. I would ask her to feed back to the city council. CLEAN UP the old part of the city. It is horrible and full of graffiti.

If you are on the main square, than you can find it easily. They are very friendly, but besides a city map - with a lot of information - they don't have any othe touristic brochure.

For 4 Euros, you can rent an audio guide which will allow you to easily take in the major sights of the old city. You can do this at your own pace, stopping for as long as you want. You follow a small map with numbered stops; the guide is easy to use. Allow at least 2 hours; there are... More

Very helpful staff here. The Audio-guide tour is very interesting and takes you to places you might otherwise miss. A good idea at the beginning of your stay in this lovely city with such a fascinating history. Not overly complex! Great that you can use it all day, so plenty of time for breaks, better than a guided tour on... More

There are no signs directing travelers to this office but once in the main square you can spot it on a corner. The staff are helpful, though a little weary. There is no WiFi. There is a great walking tour for €9, starting at 10.30am, in English and Italian. The guide used a microphone which was helpful, though the feedback... More
