A beautiful trek and sight to behold. I will highly recommend this for the fireworks and the wonderful welcome for Christmas season you can get. And don't miss the Christmas special that you can find in the markets.

I had waited years to come here and spend the day hiking between the 5 coastal towns. It is a ba** bust**, but you can do it if you're in reasonable shape and have 10-12 hours. Start in Monterosso and hike south. Beautiful, spectacular, serene,...More

A bit disappointed as it is not mentioned on the official website that most of the trails are closed. Re-opening dates are not clear neither.

We took the train from La Spezia to Cinque Terre. Had a fabulous day visiting three of the five towns. Unique experience. Small fishing villages full of color and personality! Very quaint with fun shopping and dining opportunities!

We have hiked the trails several times over a couple of years and love the ease of the trails and the spectacular views. The trails follow the cliffs along the coastline and connect the towns together for an awesome hike with views you can't experience...More

A great hike on some very scenic trails. Travel to each of the small villages Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Each is unique with coastal views. The trails we used required a pass that must be purchased it is checked at each trail head....More

Only 2 of the 4 legs of the Cinque Terre Main Coastal Trail are open. It's embarrassing that they continue to advertise these trails. The "standard" alternative trail between Riomaggiore to Manarola is also closed. The trails open get very crowded, probably more so because...More

If you are in reasonably good shape (I was 56 and my mate, she was 42), did it in 11 hours. It is strenuous, but I wouldn't recommend a tour group over solo.
