I walk up here every morning after breakfast when we are in Genova to enjoy the view. It's a nice walk (but steep!) and you can walk some more when you get up to Spianata Castelletto or you can sit on the benches and enjoy...More

This place is the best to have a clear sight of the medieval centre of Genoa. Don't miss it after a long tour of the medieval centre. From this part you can understand the development of the city during the centuries. Enjoy it both with...More

Not so easy to find the way up as there seems to be several choices. We happened onto the small ascensore which might be for locals as it had no cost but took us to this park-like area with a fantastic view in many directions....More

From the main square it is a short, but winding walk. If you choose not to take the lift be prepared for big hills and lots of stairs(many locals do not pay the lift. It is quite nice and the money helps keep it maintained....More

Well worth the trek to the top. Sunrise and sunset are best A 360 view of the city. There is a lift but if you walk it you sleep well that night

We got a tip to visit this place and were not disappointed at all. Spectacular views across the city and harbour, in peaceful surroundings. And a special mention about the gelato around the corner!

After you enjoyed the exciting but also a bit scary experience of using a well hidden historic elevator (entrance is beneath the stairs next to Palazzo Meridiane) you arrive at a nice place with many trees and benches where you can relax.
