In this small part near the ocean we had a great walk and fantastic scenery. If you've got time just take a strawl and enjoy the view.

The old harbour area is delightful. Small, but full of charm with a few cafes and restaurants. No need to spend long here. We got there on the 42 bus from Genoa and walked back along the seafront - OK for a walk but not...More

After reading some reviews we decided this seem to be a nice alternative than walking around the main city. We are quite happy to walk between 8 - 12 miles when out in Wales so an hours walk from our hotel (NH Genoa) didn't seem...More

Charming little place. Travelled by bus from Genoa city centre and then returned by walking alongside the coast which took about an hour.

After reading several reviews, I have to say I was disappointed with Boccadasse. We had walked from lovely Nervi along the beautiful coast, but I just didn't get this place. Even though it was an April week day, the place was packed, with sunbathers all...More

The cutest beach ever! Tiny and hidden away from the fast pace city of Genoa. Mostly locals. Went to have cocktails and enjoy the fresh air. Great to sit and people watch too.

A 20 min bus ride from city center. While Boccadasse is much more than the oft photographed beach, this beach is the perfectly place to soak up the Mediterranean sun and ambiance. Small windy footpaths add fun and mystery while exploring this area. A great...More

We took a stroll from central Genoa to Boccadasse for a change of scene on the Sunday of our weekend trip. The walk took a good hour but a flat and pleasant stroll largely along the seafront promenade, Corsa Italia. The place itself (at least...More

This place is quiet a charming, you can just sit back, grab a beer and just relax there. You can get a good sunset view if you are at the right time. If you like taking pics, you can spend as much time as you...More

I could also recommend scanning through Airbnb. I've stayed in an apartment only 400m away from Bocadasee and it was fairly cheap.
