If you visit Portofino, you need to climb (walk) all the way to Castello Brown, pay a few extra Euros and ENJOY the view from up there! The place is very nice, but nothing far from the ordinary. It is an old and empy castle...More

I loved visiting Castello Brown, the walk, the gardens, the structure, the terrace everything about it. It is nothing elaborate but the location is just beautiful and provokes a wonderful feeling looking out over the sea. Worth the walk and €5.

Very interesting displays with lots of historical information, along with a very informative video. Unfortunately the main garden was closed. The film Enchanted April was filmed here.

We walked up from the port and had a very enjoyable few hours. There are many steps to negotiate but, hey, it's on a hill. There is a fee to enter (which I cannot recall) but it was worthwhile for the spectacular views from the...More

It's a very short walk up to the castle and worth your time. It is a five euro admission fee which really does not get you anything except the right to come in the door. It is self guiding but there is a film that...More

Only costs five euros but worth every bit because the views and the photo opportunities are the best in Portofino without a doubt

It took me about 30 minutes to climb. It's a solid hike. Not sure if there is any transportation available. The views are breathtaking.
