In this very exclusive (about 500 residents)and beautiful town, this church, high on a hill overlooking the city, harbor and Mediterranean Sea is quite spectacular and very close to the San Martin Church. It is a heck of a walk up here but well worth the journey

The colors of Portofino are so enchanting and the yellow of this church is unreal! The climb up is easy, beautiful views all around. It feels like a secret spot. Try, try to not go when the tourists are there!

Having decided to take a day visiting Portofino, we took the path up to the little church of San Giorgio. The church itself was small but lovely. There was the opportunity to contribute to the lighting of a candle. The views outside the church was stunning. Behind the church is a small, yet beautiful crematorium which we walked round. Worth a visit for sure. …

Weatherbeaten but soulful church - very different, much simpler, than others in the area. Terrific location, looking out to sea on two side, with a view of Portofino on the third.
