The church is halfway on The way to The Castelle Brown; very nice to take some Panoramic pictures; The cemetry in The back of The church is quite interesting; never seen people’s Photographer attached to The graveyard. One lady had lived 104 years and other...More

When you head up to see the Castle you can't miss this pretty yellow church. Didn't get inside but the door is worth a closer look, and the decorated path leading up to.. nice to sit and take it in.

Every Italian city has a famous church and if that’s just thing then go for it but for me this was just another local church with history and there are better things to see and do.

The view of both Portofino and the sea is a must from the high vantage point of this church. A definite must do while in Portofino.

Pretty church. Not worth a trip to Portofino by itself by a long shot but worth the short hike uphill if you are there.

A relatively simple walk from the town. We were on our way to the lighthouse and this was en route. Not much to the church (relative to other churches in Italy). Looked like it was being renovated. A nice break on the way to the...More

The San Giorgio church actually looks more like a chapel and is located on top of a hill Sout-East of Portofino. It seems that the chuch dates back to the 12th century, but it was reconstructed in the middle of the past century after being...More
