Remarkable grandeur and architecture of the church dominates the piazza. Wonderful to stand in the center and be awed. Beautiful shops line the piazza on one side along with the entrance to the magnificent Vittorio Emanuel shopping arcade. Not to be matched elsewhere. Then across...More

The sight of the church as one exits the Metro is breathtaking. You are then taken in by the hustle and bustle of the locals and tourists as you explore the surrounds.

Personally Milan at its worst! Too crowded. Too many pigeons. Too expencive shops. Be aware of people selling you pigeon food, it is a rip off!! I hate places like this.

If you love beautiful old structures, take in the sites from every side of the Duomo. Lots of cools shopping, restaurant, and people-watching.

The Piazza is a place where you need to find a place to sit in comfort and take in the beautiful surroundings. Yes it can be touristy, but well worth spending time here

It's in the centre of the city and there are several attractions which surround the piazza: the cathedral, the 20th century art gallery, the shopping gallery and on the other side of the shopping gallery is La Scala. What more can be said?

While a visit to the Duomo is a highlight of Milan, the piazza was like any other tourist area (crowded and unpleasant) when we were there in June.
