Teatro Nazione – Milan’s new musical templeFounded in the 20’s by Mauro Rota, Teatro Nazionale is one of the most important Theatre of the city, an established trademark of Milan’s cultural fabric.Chosen by Stage Entertainment as ideal venue for its great musicals, it has been deeply renovated: an expanded stage tower, a widened capiency (almost 1.500 seats), an acoustic of excellence together with some of the greatest Italian designers contributed to make Teatro Nazionale one of the most beautiful theatres of the country, a spectacle itself.

Went to Milan the other day to see the Legnanesi at the Teatro Nazionale. What a great theatre this is, great staff, lovely seats. The Legnanesi are a wonderful group, their acting is fantastic and so is the choreography . Easy to get there on public transport, Line 1 underground get off at Wagner.

If your looking for something different to do, go see a musical in Milan. It was great fun. Theater is modern and not too large so all seats are good. Couple of nice casual places to eat in the neighborhood to eat prior or after. Metro 1 Wagner station block away.

Whisked it is an attractive looking theater, I wouldn't pay to see it unless I was going to see a presentation there. The museum attached is small and not noteworthy.
