There is not much to say... Just another typical department store which is messy and crowded. But is worth a try.

They have downstairs a greatly priced appetitive. It is nice includes glass of vine. But I started conversation with their vine expert and he was amazing. So if you are looking for a great vine go there. He answered all my questions, told the origins of vine and even introduced me to orange vine! He is amazing! Definitely visit this... More

With Ladurée on the ground floor I would personally think this place is a must visit. If you are very central to the city they stock gourmet fresh food downstairs which is worth a visit despite how rude the staff can be (I've lived in Milan, you get used to being pushed aside by sales staff with no apology even... But once you discover the entrance you are in a thoughtful designed and interestingly curated fashion and accessories. They also have a Laduree shop with delicious macaron , a perfume section that boats unique brands and fashion that's is on the Avantgarde site .... More

Strange place with a strange choice of clothes and other staff, better go to La Rinascente if you're into such clothes.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
