Just the far side of Castello Sforzesco. We visited on a sunny but cold Feb day. We stopped of at the cafe near the lake for a mid afternoon drinkie. Busker playing and ducks quacking... very relaxing after a busy morning sight seeing

Centrally located and a great place to walk through to make way for interesting places in Milan. There are nice white walking paths surrounded by lots of green grass and tall trees. A relaxing area to just walk.

The park is a nice place to relax after the bustle of the city. There are often very good street entertainers. Good place to use BikeMi to practice before venturing onto the roads.

It is a nice place, even if it's in Milan it's yet kinda quiet but also it's very alive, I really liked to go there

Lovely area to walk around. There are many pathways and routes, as well as good views of La Triennale. The quiet woodsy-feel is a nice escape from the busy city center!

A clean park with several ducks and a lake, surrounded by a sight on all 4 sides. You will normally see several locals exercising and strolling there dogs. However, it seemed riddled with gangs of scammers and, lets say, "shady" people. Would not go there during nighttime, when the place is relatively empty.

Take a walk, run or just watch. Stop for coffee. See the Castle. Walk into town. Well kept and particularly nice from early mornings from spring to late autumn.

I would normally give this park a higher rating, as it is a very calm, quiet and pleasant place to stroll, especially well situated between the Castello Sforzesco and the Peace Arch. However, the place is infested with hordes of asylum seekers and refugees, all young men, that seek to sell you anything or get money from you. Their scams... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
