Fitting tribute to a great man, located at the very nice little park at the front of La Scalla. Rich details and symbolism of the statue.

I love this statue. You wander through all the shopping area and he is there looking down at you right in the eye with curiosity. He is surrounded by other famous stars of people I knew vaguely.

Statue in the Piazza Della Scala that shows (probably) the most famous Italian descendant of all time. It certainly does him justice.

It stands in front of La Scala, the Opera House. It is just a few feet from one end of the Galleria. It is worth a quick look. The small statues on the base are also interesting.

This was a lot bigger than I was expecting but was quite impressive. Remember it is just a model and not the real person.

Could not visit here without visiting the great mans statue. Such a visionary so far ahead of his time. It was good to pay tribute to such a truly inspiring world figure.

This is a life size monument to one of Italy's favourite sons standing in a small square directly opposite Teatro alla Scala. It stands proud on top of a pillar surrounded by smaller figures and is a must see.

The Piazza della Scala is really quite underwhelming but contains the Opera House and the entrance to the Galleria Vittoria Emanuel II, and at it's centre is a lovely statue to the great thinker and artist Leonardo da Vinci. A fitting monument to an outstanding...More

This is an interesting statue that is just on the north side of the the Galleria. It's probably 40 feet in height and is the centerpiece of Piazza della Scala.

This monument is very beautiful. There is a statue of Leonardo Da Vinci at the top. It is located at the Scala square (Piazza della Scala), next to Vittorio Emanuele II Galery.
