This church is MUCH more ornate and elaborate than the Cathedral that houses the Shroud. Many of the side chapels are worth seeing as well. What a great find!

I've never seen a church layout in this style before, anywhere in the world. Even if the floorplan was more familiar, it would still be a breathtaking church to visit as the decor is quite stunning. This really is a must see for Torino or...More

The church is an eclectic collection of architecture, and includes portions of an ancient Roman wall, a Romanesque bell-tower, a baroque set of domes, almost Byzantine, sheltering a gothic icon, with two porticos, one of which has Neoclassic severity. Don't miss it!.

A sturdy church from the outside, the inside surprises with its beauty. The alter, in particular, is noteworthy with the icon of the Virgin of the Consolation. A worthy stop in Turin!

Beh essendo un Santuario, e' logico che e' bene entrare in condizioni civili, niente pantaloncini e scollature succinte, per il resto tutto ammesso
