This is an outstanding but not huge building next to the Cathedral. Take your time to sit in one of the chairs lined against the walls and enjoy seeing the marvelous paintings in this cool and silent place. The ticket is only three euros, so...More

If someone was deciding whether to go inside based on its exterior appearance, they probably would have skipped this site which would have been a massive mistake. The Baptistery's interior has that wow factor- probably even a tad more so than Parma's Baptistery. The frescoes...More

It is well worth visiting. I found it odd that they didn't allow photos without flash as the Scrovegni chapel did which is much more visited and famous. It wasn't very busy so possible to sit and enjoy in relative piece.

Well worth the €3 entrance to this small building to see the frescos of various scenes from the life of Jesus. The scene in the dome is particularly good. Audio guides are available but we just enjoyed looking!

Large cathedral, quiet and peaceful - unadorned but with space to be silent and reflective. Interesting modern sculpture inside too.

The cathedral's nearly zen interior is in sharp contrast to the small but super ornate, baptistry. It is only 3 Euros to visit and worth every cent. They said no photos, but the man told me as long as no flash it is fine. The...More
